Hoax! Not surprising is the following quote from australianufowave.com
"In April 2006, the Australian Film Commission funded an experimental digital video project by director Christopher Kenworthy. Between June and mid-August 2006 thirty-one clips of UFOs were created. The UFO videos were distributed over the internet via websites and video podcasts. Writers crafted background stories for the sightings, and answered thousands of e-mails using a fictional persona. The process, reactions and responses were recorded for a forthcoming documentary.
The project was hugely successful, being viewed by many millions of people. Very few people suspected that the clips were manufactured. Gradually, the level of plausibility was reduced, but only when the last two clips were uploaded did a large number of people get suspicious. It's also worth noting that two of the UFO clips we distributed were quite genuine - and no researcher was able to pick which two they were."
continued...
Now the question remains, is this simply a coverup? We won't subscribe to such an extreme conspiracy theory just yet. But it is curious that, for whatever reason, the Australian Government was involved in this project....
Original article:
This breaking new video of what appears to be a zombie-like alien will be making headway across the net in another alien video controversy.
The witness reports seeing a bright low-flying light, bigger than a house, which flew above his car, then moved ahead and landed behind the trees. He found the courage to park nearby, at which time the light went out. He approached the landing point and shot this footage, then ran back to his car. He did not see the light or the figure again, and admits his memories of the journey home are vague - but he ascribes this mostly to shock.
The tape was delivered to the webmaster of Australian UFO Wave by hand, about 24 hours after the event, and I have viewed the original camera tape.
In about 7 seconds of quality footage taken at night by our mystery camera man, a large alien suddenly appears in plain site ( image below ).
Credibility is an unknown factor here. The fact that this video was hand delivered does improve the reliability somewhat, but it has to be questioned whether or not this is a CG prank.
Why does this alien walk like a zombie ? Do interstellar travelers not realize that they scare the crap out people walking up like this ? Why does this alien look so unhealthy ? Many questions, no logical answers makes us highly skeptical.
Is it a fake? There are some convenient aspects about this zombie alien video that would make it easier to fake - such as the black background for our alien. A solid color background makes it very simple for visual effects artists to animate 3d objects on. Also notice that no other objects are visible in the frames where we actually see the alien.
Is there anything going for this video? Camera movement is a hard film effect to emulate, and a few shaky frames of this video include the alien -- if this is a fake, someone experienced in film & 3D animation has created this.
The question of whether or not this is authentic remains, so you are invited to view the video below and decide for yourself.
